In January, just five donors gave a total of $19 million, a quarter of the money raised for the presidential race that month."

CNN decided to cancel the debate after being left with a single confirmation, Newt Gingrich, who would have been left to square off solo with moderator John King."

Gallup: "U.S. economic confidence is at -20 for the week ending Feb. 12, improved from -25 the prior week. Americans have grown steadily more positive about economic conditions since last August, when the budget battles, stock market declines, and fears of a double-dip recession sent economic confidence to a low for the year."
